Deftones Share New Song “Milk of the Madonna”

Deftones have released “Milk of the Madonna,” the second single from their upcoming album Private Music, set to drop on August 22, 2025. This marks the band’s first new material in five years, following the release of “My Mind Is a Mountain” in July. Both tracks showcase the band’s signature blend of heavy guitar riffs, ambient textures, and Chino Moreno’s dynamic vocals.

“Milk of the Madonna” continues the sonic exploration hinted at in “My Mind Is a Mountain,” delving deeper into the band’s evolving sound. The track has been described as both fiery and hypnotic, capturing the urgency of the current rock scene while maintaining the atmospheric elements Deftones are known for. 

Fans can stream “Milk of the Madonna” now on all major platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. The band is also preparing for their annual Dia de los Deftones music festival on November 1, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, featuring performances by Clipse, Deafheaven, and more. Additionally, Deftones will embark on a North American tour later this month, with a European leg beginning in January 2026.
